Ok, here's the last of the good recent pics.
Monk Skipper butterfly on my orchid tree.

Caught this sulphur butterfly in mid-air, which was cool.

Anhinga at the park- I had the camera set wrong most of the time, so few photos were sharp enough to share.

This female downy woodpecker was so busily pecking out a nest that she didn't mind me getting close.

Pretty sure this pair of mockingbirds is nesting, they do a lot of things very closely together. This was the first time I'd seen this behavior. They were absolutely silent, perched next to each other. One would look at the other and open its beak wide, and the other would return the gesture. Courting ritual? Bonding ritual? Practice for feeding babies?

Once in a while a mourning dove shows up. They're pretty, but shy, so through the window for photos.

And the squirrels in the secluded, overgrown, hurricane messed up (broken Australian pines everywhere) bit of the park were relaxed enough to let me see them.
