It's very weathery

Silver skies and air so moist you can feel it on your skin, promising day long drizzle interrupted by occasional thunderstorms. So I couldn't do outside cement work (need to patch some missed spots on the house & fill in the mouse holes on Bernard) even if I felt like it, which I don't. It's another mildly light-headed and tired day, so going to the bank & grocery is also put off.
So going to do light stuff, with as much sitting as possible.
I phoned for a donation pickup on the 26th (got 2 bags full to go.)
Please, Lord, give me a strong day on the 24th so I can put out the furniture for bulk trash-don't want it in the living room another month.
I called the bank where I keep my checking account & got them to change the type- it was an interest bearing account where if the balance fell below $5,000 I had a $20 maintenance fee. It never earned more than $3 interest in a year! I set it up when I was kinda desperate to separate my money from Ken's & the bank officer was a dim bulb, so I never got the details on the rate, but it must have been infinitesimal. I was assured the account number would remain the same, so I wouldn't waste my current checks, and was told it would still work with my PayPal exactly the same. Hope so. Now the balance can drop to $750 before it incurs a maintenance fee.
I went to my credit card co. website and redeemed the 'WorldPoints' I've earned the last 3 years by using the card for everything I could. I'd been holding off on doing that because the procedure was involved, but recently they changed it to make it dead simple. I put in my checking bank account routing number and account number and told them to transfer the value of the points. $250 added to my checking account isn't much (other credit cards give more back- BUT other credit cards wouldn't give me a card unless I lied about my income- this one let me have it because it was issued by the bank where I have a checking account & didn't require me to tell them my income.) So I have only one credit card.
Ok, have to get up now. I have so many things to do, but I'm tooo tired... *yawn*. This weather always makes me sleepy. Think I'll needlepoint and faff about posting photos. I have a bunch of yard photos from the last week to share.
