I woke up way early again, which was good because I'd forgot to put out the trash last night. But there is no brain. I'm clumsy and brain foggy. To the point that when I went to empty the water from a cup, I poured it into the kitchen trash bag instead of the sink. Ok. Definitely not a day to deal with the hospital billing stuff. I WOULD like to know if this is the last bill or will they stick on another one later? All I got from them in the mail (weeks ago) was a thing that said This is NOT a Bill- an itemized list of things they'd done.

Need to organize my brain (and maybe some documents?) before I try to phone them.

I did START making tote bags yesterday but lack of brain makes it seem not worth doing now. I got as far as putting a border and back on an Elephant family panel, so when I DO make a tote I can sew that on front as a pocket.

Today I've been mostly sitting at the computer (bad bad, no exercise) and attempting to fix, pixel by pixel, a base for a madras plaid, by separating the colors from a flattened one (couldn't find the original layered- I don't think it exists, because it was turned 45 degrees from a straight set plaid.) It's not going well... I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the day I just throw it out.

In between I'm reading Teen Wolf fic (I searched on AO3 for superheroes after getting to the main TW & found some new ones that are fun), and playing one of AARP's games (they have a lot where you don't even have to be a member. I am, but never bothered to actually register. My procrastination game is A-Plus.)

Although I can't actually say there's much playing involved. I'm now at level 252 (pretty sure there's well over a 1000) and it long since became IMPOSSIBLE to complete a level without using some special woozits (a drill to go down, and a rocket to go across are the ones I've found essential) that you can get in a few ways, but none of them fast. Every 15 minutes there's a chance to watch an ad to earn 50 gold coins, 150 of them can buy 1 of the specials, 500 of them can buy 5 of the specials, 1500 can buy 15 of the specials.

There's also once every 25 hours a free expedition where you pick a random chest & MAYBE get one of the specials (you could also spend 100 gold coins for the chance, but it's unlikely you'd get one of the best specials- like a 1 out of 7 chance- might as well save the gold to buy them).

There's a star chest that you earn 1-3 stars for completing a level, and when you reach 20 it will give you 3 prizes.

There's also a freebie where you get 3 randomly chosen prizes (might be coins, the lesser specials or include one of the best specials), but you have to solve 10 levels for that.

You have a limited number of moves to solve a level- if you run out of moves and have gold coins you can buy more moves- 100 coins for 5, but if you run out even after that, then it costs 200, 400, etc. If you don't have enough gold to buy more moves, you lose a life AND you lose the built up increased chance of earning 3 stars for completing a level.

It's simultaneously easy, and complex. They don't explain a lot of sneaky stuff- like-- if you have on the game board more than one of some things that do stuff (a skunk (destroys everything it touches), a bee (which flies and destroys everything in its path) and a rainbow circle with a color inside (that removes every piece of that color), touching, they can COMBINE. Really gratifying if you can get a good group going on and NOT trigger any until you have a whole group and maybe have the bees flying to all the color matching pieces and blow them all up in one move.
