feng_shui_houseHeavy, white-blinding against the window, windy, rain, but nothing like a tropical storm. YAY. I even got brave and dragged out the load of big bags of bougainvillea clippings to the trash half an hour ago in a dry interval. I think I heard the recycling truck go by as I was waking, so I'll have to wait 2 weeks for that, but I'm not dragging the bags back in the yard even if I missed the once a month bulk pickup. I'm painted with New Skin stripes on my lower arms & legs from the hasty hauling & not gonna do that again.
Still, there is lightning & possibility of power outage, but with any luck at all, that won't happen. *fingers crossed*

Date: 2012-08-27 05:29 pm (UTC)I was in a theatre under railway arches on Saturday, and halfway through the first act could hear gushing water, presumably connected with the storm outside. During the interval some workmen came and peered at it with a torch (at which point I could see gushing water coming out of the wall at the base of a railway arch) but didn't seem to have an immediate solution. Despite proximity to electrics, we made it through the second half with no more than extra gushing-water sound effects.
