Eh, one of those days...

feng_shui_houseI'm still dealing with a couple minor health issues (neither of which is fun to hear, so no details). Got the yard into compliance & called the city & they're assigning the inspector to come by and check-- whenever. Must remember to call back in a week or so to make SURE they don't drop the ball. Trash guys were by & picked up another 14 bags. 9? or so huge bags in the back, will put them out at next trash day.
Gotta take Amber & Bootless to be put down. Bootless was getting better, then on Fri he got a lot worse, & can't walk at all. Was going to take them on Mon, but I felt so rotten I could do nothing, not even write fic.
Have called vet & taxi and am sitting here jittering. (Got glutened somehow last week, which makes me hypersensitive to any stress...) Taxi guy said he'd be here in about 20-30 min. so am letting Amber & Bootless finish their last meal in piece before I grab them. Never have managed to catch Amber since many years ago for her neutering, but I'm gonna really try this time.
Looked at cat photos last night- Amber is at least 18 and Bootless at least 16-- the earliest photos I found were of them as adults, so prob. they're even older than that. They had a good run.
Later I'm gonna have to get the 3 young cats fixed. NOT MY CATS, but... not anyone else's. Either. Shall go try to catch cats soon....
