feng_shui_houseAs a Christmas gift to my wonderfully supportive Avengers & Iron Man readers over on AO3, I focused on finishing a long (just over 32,000 words) WiP. And got it done in the wee small hours of Christmas morning. YAY.
It's a Gen fantasy epic quest AU, in which Clint Barton is a dragonslayer who has to change careers when the low numbers of dragons turns out to be a magicological disaster, with the monsters they formerly fed upon now having no check and so causing far more harm to people than dragons who generally prefer to avoid humans.
There's a LOT of Avengers Avatars reinvisioned as creatures from various mythologies, starting with Ton'i the black dragon. And there are riddles, mostly ones I picked up around the net, but a few I made myself because sometimes I just couldn't find one with the answer I needed. I created a 'skin' that allowed me to hide text until you highlight it, so you can try to solve the riddles but if you want the answers, they're right there. (Do NOT choose 'Hide Creator's Style' unless you want all the answers in plain sight.)
