I just looked it up and that's an Anhinga, not a cormorant, the anhinga has a straight beak where the cormorant has a hook at the end.

Those are gorgeous photos. I liked the look of the gazebo best I think. Is this somewhere you went while Z was visiting?

Yes, Vizcaya is in Miami Beach. Z and I went there on my birthday- was a lovely day. If you google, I'm pretty sure they have a website that includes a few photos of the mansion interior (you're not allowed to take photos inside the house, which is probably just as well, as I would have spent the whole day in there.)

I believe the dragonflies are traditionally your best. Brilliant pictures!!!!
Also I am using this chance to apologise for an unplanned gap, that shop I get yummy things is closed for some re-construction. They promise to open with the new year!*HUgs*

That's the first time a dragonfly hovered in place long enough for me to get a photo! My camera refuses to focus on moving objects (well, maybe there's a way to do it, but I haven't found it) so I was really surprised when the dragonfly stayed in the same place for minutes on end & let me snap it.
