Really cool chart for cat-lovers.
Sep. 14th, 2014 06:53 pmIt's a guide to domestic cat coat colors and patterns. The creator says it doesn't cover every possibility, but it sure looks like it to me!

Date: 2014-09-15 04:11 pm (UTC)Would be cool if someone made a chart like that for dogs, and for horses. I don't know much about dog color possibilities, but horses are similar to cats, with two base colors (red and black), agouti, points, various dilutions and white spotting.

It looks to me like a black and white kitten where they've bleached & dyed part of the black fur red. Since it was a Chinese pet store, that seems likely, going by the 'panda dogs' etc. If it actually was a colorpoint, I'd expect the eyes to be much more blue, instead of the hazel turning to common yellow that they seem. Also, if it WAS a colorpoint, at that age I'd think the dark markings would be much smaller.
I'd seen a similar photo four years ago of kittens on a meme called 'the offspring of Firefox and LOLcat'. http://thenextweb.com/shareables/2010/11/19/breaking-news-rumors-of-firefox-dating-lolcat-confirmed/
