Maybe no Matthew for me.

Not long after I posted expecting to soon be hit by hurricane Matthew (or at least the tropical storm winds on the fringes) it started edging westward.

I'd only had 4 hours sleep last night & then spent the day at hard labor, so I went to bed once my local weather website had my area downgraded to mostly precautionary 'stay safe, it might still get hairy'.

There's about 5 hours left of the Storm Warning in effect, but unless Matthew does yet *another* surprise move, I should be fine in the morning. I may celebrate by posting pics of critters then. :^)

Thanks for all the prayers and good luck wishes! I'm sure they helped.

I slept really heavily, with relief. ;^) I've just got up so I've only looked outside the windows- everything looks fine, just another gray, drizzly day.

Thanks! Will be sorting through later to decide which to put up. I took A LOT of photos at the zoo, and then later I took a LOT of photos at the park. ;^)

This sounds very hopeful. I have read the news and Matthew seems to keep aside Hialeah. So far so good. I hope you will stay safe - one never knows what a hurricane has in store for us.
