Yep, I just put 3 dozen sticks in pots.... and got ONE plant- It's bigger, not in the photo. And then I did it again a year later- another 3 dozen cuttings in pots, but this time I watered them more regularly, and got around 6 possibles- and then I moved them to the front so I could watch them more closely and I THINK maybe 3 or 4 of them will grow.

If you want to grow plants from cuttings, it works better if you have dipped the stems in rooting hormone-- you can buy it, I'm sure. I didn't really expect hibiscus to root, so I didn't buy any. Supposedly there's all sorts of do it yourself things to make plants root, but I don't know... aloe vera gel? cinnamon? human saliva??

The double rainbow was beautiful! It's hard to get it to show up as well in a photo as in real life.
