Sorry for being a home-wrecker

Got up early- recycle truck came by, the driver/operator looks like Santa Claus to me. Whenever I see him we wave at each other.

I got ONE of the two remaining branches cut despite it starting to drizzle rain. BUT when I looked at the cut down branch near the very top was a perfect nest. So much work went into it. Sorry, it's gone. Luckily it was empty, no eggs or even sadder, any babies. Two mockingbirds came and perched on the remaining top branch and... you know? I think they were looking for the nest. Ah, well... I know they often make multiple nests before choosing one, so it's not like it ruined their chances this year. Maybe if I remember I'll look to see if I have anything they might like for nesting material & leave it where they'll see it... maybe I'll cut my hair. ;^)

I've been resting up and wound up over on you tube shorts. SUCH A TIME SINK. I saved links to some of my favorites.

Coolest kitchen gadget ever- Perfect egg cheeseburger maker.

The drizzle turned into heavier drizzle, so I finally gave up on the tree sawing. I'd got maybe half way through the last branch, but what with the rain/humidity fogging my goggles, and the angle and standing on the ladder and the saw kept getting stuck... I didn't want to risk going back to yesterday's disaster. So I'll probably miss the bulk pickup with the one branch when I eventually get back to it.

Yep. Missed it. They picked up the big pile so that's good. It's still drizzly and I'm still tired. I left the ladder and the pruning pole saw in the living room. If I can get the one branch down I could cut it up to put out with regular trash tomorrow? Maybe. I dunno, still drizzly and tired.

Ok, it's after 4pm and the day is still grizzle (that's gray and drizzly) and I'm just zonked. Maybe get energy enough to get up and nap. ;^)
