Branching out

Finished another tote last night. Today I was SO stiff it took hours before I felt Ladder Capable- today it's left knee's turn to grumble. While waiting I did the usual chores, plus laundry, and started sewing on the next to last tote.

Yesterday I got almost half way through the branch before I gave in, today I got around 3/4's of the way before I had to have a break, so I came in to check out email- Amazon cancelled the one item -package of replacement blades for my old utility knife- BUT checking the link it showed as 'in stock', which made me leery of trying to order it from another 'amazon Merchant' that also said 'in stock'. Maybe I DO have some more? Quite often when I order something I think I'm out of, I discover a hidden stash (I now have a bucket FULL of Ivory and Dial bar soaps from cleaning out the linen closet). (Nope, I don't think I have more replacement blades- BUT I DID find a handful of cheapo blade included cutters of various styles- wouldn't last for more than a few uses so good I could use them up.)

Also I SHOULD be getting a 2Terabyte Transcend Drive- I have all my photos on the computer, plus on a drive, but both are old, and I was thinking one more for safety. I'm a belt, suspenders and buttons type of person.

I broiled a couple pork 'steaks' and read some fic on AO3 and finally screwed up my resolve to the sticking place and finished cutting the last branch. Sawed it into smaller bits and bagged it and put it in my trash bin which is scheduled for today. YAY. For a while the tree is down to safe height.

Oh, cool, someone bought some fabric with two of my 'Sharks Playing Waterpolo' designs. I wonder if they'd seen them because someone else bought one of the other colorways two days ago? I never have figured out how visibility on Spoonflower works- do recent sales show up higher?

This is the first one sold- on a green background. I like repeats that make patterns- the sharks make pinwheels and the spaces between their tails makes a sort of flower.

Oh, reading the comments in a fic one said Sent 2024-11-01 using Ao3 Rekudos Converter

And I wondered what is THAT? Googling wound me up here, which is a post on 'A blog dedicated to discussing feedback culture in fanfiction and exploring features, userscripts, tools, and community initiatives to improve author and reader experience.' The post includes html to copy paste to put an image in a comment that says how many extra kudos it is.

Oh, yay. Just checked Amazon tracking and it said 'delivered to residence mailbox' and the $100 drive was safely inside my locking mailbox. *pets my mailbox* I should give it a name... hmmm... Mr. Steele (reduces stealing)? Loki (pronounced Lock Key?) or something else?

I lost a lot of time just now... I zombied out reading fic and playing a simple on line game (not the one that lost all my progress).

It's a very simple logic puzzle- free to solve and if you sign up, free to create puzzles for other people to solve. I never signed up, but I like setting it for 'random puzzle' and 'small' so they're not too difficult and so I won't spend hours on ONE. ;^)
