I have babies!

Well, baby frogs. Bro came home & is starting to pump the slimy water out of the pool. I waded in the muck and netted a couple dozen tadpoles and put them in a large bucket. Maybe they'll live. Right now they're so small they're hard to photograph.

User name Meme

I might as well meme since I'm avoiding work.

1. My username is entropy_house because every time I turn around entropy is attacking this house. IIRC my first post involved my brother breaking the gas line to the house with a shovel while trying to dig up the clean-out line for the toilet (turned out the main waste line had rotted away & we wound up having the kitchen ripped up and the floor jackhammered for 20 feet.)

2. My journal is titled Decadent Matters because not only is the house decaying, but I like slash.

3. My subtitle is Duct Tape Uber Alles (although I only ever see it on the profile page) because Duct Tape has held stuff together around here for a long time.

4. My friends page is called Good People because I believe in the power of names, and seeing yourself called a good person has got to give you a little warm feeling.

5. My default userpic (the one on this post) currently relates to the LJ 2007 Strikeout kerfluffle mainly because the text came to me as I was waking and it fit the situation so perfectly that I decided to make it my default until I get bored with it. Usually my default is a picture I took of cats forming the shape of the letter 'M' because both my first & last names begin with 'M'. My first default was a photo I took of a woodpecker on a palm tree with the caption 'ouch'. The palm tree was later struck by lightning and chopped down.
