Too Windy for Ghouls and Cat Family Tree

Although Hurricane Noel isn't likely to come close to me, the associated weather pattern is giving us lots of rain and strong gusts of wind. I will put out candy, but I sincerely doubt there will be many takers.
EDIT 3= I got 14 trick or treaters! Ok, that's peanuts, but considering the miserable weather and the fact that I didn't put out any decorations (or even remember to cover up the beware of the dog sign) not bad.

EDIT: My new clock came... and it had instructions on how to reset the clock to account for the US gov changing the DST nonsense- hold down a button for 7 seconds, and then you can set it. It *also* worked on the old clock which is basically the same as the new one, but for a remodeled exterior. So now I have two low-vision clocks, both with the right time. I put the new one in the living room.
