It's going to be a Cracky Christmas....

The Dismal DV story would NOT leave me alone until I jotted down the whole plot. So I did. Am now going back to Avonhawke (which is now over 7,200 words about ...9/10 of the way through the movie). Hope the DDV cooperates when it's its turn to really be written.

EDIT: Over 7,500 words. Vila is being a real trooper, carrying the whole story on his shoulders.

Avonhawke is done-ish. Slightly under 9,000 words (say 22 average size pages). As Avon is the hawk & Blake the wolf, it's slash by intent, but nothing more explicit than a kiss (of the non-feelthy sort of 'X kissed Y').

If anyone is willing to beta-read it, please reply here, telling me what email to send it to, and whether you prefer the text in the body of the email, or a word text attachment, or both. You can beta read it for grammar, logical inconsistency, canonical closeness to B7 or Ladyhawke or whatever else strikes your fancy. I don't know whether knowing the movie Ladyhawke will help-- but if you haven't seen it & don't wish to be spoilered, you won't want to read this, as it's very nearly the entire plot.

I will screen all replies, and only unscreen those which do not contain email addies or other sensitive information.
