Good News Week meme

Post some good news. ANY good news. Anything good that has recently happened in your life. Even if it's the smallest thing in the world, if it's good, post it.
Mr. Tessellations has recently updated his guest gallery. He had vanished in November. I'm glad to know his absence didn't mean he'd vanished in the Real World. I may email him to ask if he still wants the tessellations I'd sent him then that he hadn't posted. Maybe he lost them.
Ira the Pool Guy called this morning & said the city should be working on the records search for my house today. He has hopes that the pool deck is grandfathered in, having been on a permit back in 1955.
I made bread last night, and the new yeast/new recipe didn't turn out half bad.
Fennel seed tea really works. Also Walgreen Earwax Removal Drops is FAR superior to more expensive, homeopathic, etc. stuff. Lessening of trapped wind and tinnitis is always a good thing. I had a few minutes yesterday when my ears weren't ringing!
And while doing a preliminary shift through stuff for taxes, I found a $17 check I hadn't deposited which still has a couple months to go before expiration.
