Fingers crossed

My brother emailed me to say that the electrician was going on holiday the first week of June, and wanted to know what was going on with the pool. I called the electrician and gave him pool guy's phone number so they can *hopefully* coordinate. Electrician says because I have metal pool ladder/guide rail and don't want to replace them with plastic, it'll need grounding wire run all around-- extra money, ok, but also extra work. He was hoping not to have to hire an assistant. I hope I'll be able to act as assistant- if it's just pulling wire or anything to do with arms, my arms are fairly strong...

Am now reluctant to leave phone to go out to start edging, so maybe I'll do a bit more on the needlework. I finished up the box of photos yesterday- found some cute pics of prairie dogs. :^)

EEEEEEEE! Czech Gluten-Free!!

EEEEEEEE! vjezkova sent me a box of Gluten-Free goodies from Czechoslovakia! EEEEEEE!!! I was outside when the mail-lady came and fortunately was just tidying up after doing a major edge-back on the front walk, the verge, and the front fence line. I don't think I could have concentrated on work once I saw the package.

EEEEEEEE! I'm going to space them out a bit, to savor them. I started with VlÁrka (corn cheese like thin bread sticks). Very crisp and crunchy, and lovely with a bit of cream cheese. EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

EDIT: Well, that was a few minutes ago, and already I'm working on a MerunkovÁ bar. It's apricot paste with flecks of love (oooh, walnuts). So good!! ♥
