My brain is on tilt

Woke up at 5, forced myself to sleep until 7. Got up, started laundry, pool guys arrived around 7:30. I sneaked out before they got to the back yard & snipped off the excess copper grounding wire (a loop laying past the end of the connection) cuz I have a vague idea I can use it when I bodge together a vanity for my bathroom. Started making up email of the major stuff I've personally done on the house, cuz the bank lady had asked to see.

Virtual Pool Party invitations

themadblonde suggested I have a virtual pool party. Sounds good to me. With any luck, the pool will be swimmable by Monday & I'll be able to take a pic & photoshop folks in.

So, here is your mission, if you choose to accept it. If you have a photo of yourself swimming, or in a swimsuit, post it here. If you know where to find on line a swimming/bathing suited photo of a celebrity you think would be fun to have at the party, then post the link here on this post.

I looked but could only find a few suitable images (black and white won't work). I have an Elvis, a David Hasselhoff, an Esther Williams and a Marilyn Monroe that I think I'll be able to use.

Incredible Shrinking feet

The last month or so I'd noticed that not only did I not need my support sox, but that my shoes were feeling really loose. So I measured using a system I found online & it looks like my feet are half a size smaller.

Yay! The gluten-bloat must be just about gone. Pool guys are also gone, and the hose is doing its valiant best to fill the pool. I took my bare, skinny feet over and waded in the few inches of water. Wheee.
