brotherskeeper1 asked me to try to draw her young cat, Precious from a photo she'd taken. I drew the head first, and by the time I'd got it just how I liked it, I realized there wasn't enough room on the paper to draw the rest of the cat in life-like proportion- so, choice time-- either end the drawing around mid front leg, or exaggerate the kittenish proportions. I went for exaggeration, preferring to depict the spirit, rather than the external. Precious is older than she appears in this.
