A bit of Art to leaven ReaLife

Things keep breaking down. AT&T messaged me that I've got to buy a new phone by Dec. because my old, old one will no longer be compatible. *sigh* Two of the 4 A/Cs in the house are dead (been dead for a couple years), one AC can SOMETIMES be made to work after listening to horrible grinding noises for half an hour, and while the guest room AC still works that's on the other side of the house from the computer room where I LIVE so I don't bother with it, one power outlet (in a bathroom I don't use) & one light fixture (in the kitchen ceiling, but there are several others) are dead but I can't be bothered to call the electrician, Pool chlorine generator never worked worth beans and now is totally dead pool is a lovely shade of swamp, pool pump is rusted, pool filter is so hard to open to clean I haven't bothered in over a year, expensive toilet I got for the guest room a few years ago needs new parts AGAIN & the only way to get them is to track down the manufacturer and beg them because they do NOT stock the parts ANYWHERE on line or at stores and I've given up on that the part only lasts about 6 months so I'm gonna just have to get a cheapo toilet and throw the expensive one out, scanner turned itself on a couple days ago and now the only way I can shut it off is to unplug it and when I try to use it half the time I have to restart the computer to get the program to work, printer's been crappola for a long long time found a crushed dead bug behind the ink cartridge which can't have helped- palmetto bugs are about 3 inches long so yuck digging it out, still haven't bothered to start the income tax- I need mental strength--, and last night I noticed the floor under the hot water heater was damp.

*sigh* This morning I checked & it's definitely leaking. Called the plumber who lives next door & he's going to very kindly take me to the store tomorrow to buy heater & toilet.

On the BRIGHT side, I am still making more credit in commissions at Spoonflower than I'm spending on swatches & I just remembered I had covered banana slices in chocolate syrup & crushed Gluten Free cookies & put them in the freezer a few days ago. YAY. Am gonna go see if it worked.

(Also! When I moved a few things on the floor of the laundry room I discovered a lingerie bag with a bra and some compression socks! I thought I'd used them up.)
