Eye update
Nov. 9th, 2017 06:05 pmI decided not to wait until the pupil blowing eyedrops wear off. Will try to be legible.
Doctor pretty much ruled out anything scary, so not degeneration or health issue involved.
He said the right eye has the start of a small cataract- normal aging, nothing needing to be done about it. He said the vision change was caused by dry eyes- among other things not blinking enough while at the computer. Gave me a tiny sample bottle of TheraTears, so I'll have to remember to use them and get to the store to buy more. I don't know whether it will improve my vision, but it's necessary, anyway.
Also I gave them my old distance eyeglasses to put in new prescription (I asked if I should wait and see if my vision change more before getting new glasses & he said no, which I take to mean he thinks it unlikely.)
