Sold mom's car for $1000 cash. The attorney valued the car at $3200, but he based it on a car that's in perfect condition - which this one isn't- I think it's worth $2000 but I wanted to sell it *quick*. Bro magnanamously told me he'd wouldn't make me split the money with him. I pointed out yet again that the court order gave *me* the car, the uncollectable debt, & all mom's personal possessions, inflating the values in order to make it look like I'd been repaid the lawyer fees *I* paid to handle the estate. Bro said he thought we shared everything-- well, if *he'd* paid half the lawyer fees, then fine, but he didn't.

The organ which bro thought was an antique worth at least $1000 is out on the trash pile awaiting bulk pickup. It was in bro's room so I never could go in and test it. A few days ago I asked him to please check the keys. Reluctantly he tried them, for the first time in years. The bottom keyboard is totally dead. He said it's fine because the top plays! *sigh* I had to argue him into dumping it. Even as he was dumping it, he told the neighbor who helped him get it on the handtruck that 'it works'. I suppose if he had a 2 legged cat that had learned to hop he'd say 'it runs'. I did keep the organ bench (which has a little storage inside) as a replacement for the desk that I threw out which had been shoved up against my elbow. It's big enough to hold the Laptop Lemon.

Also, I do think cutting out obvious forms of wheat has helped me. I have ankles instead of puffy balloons! And other things are less bothersome, far less joint aches, digestion is better, and less dragging tiredness. Haven't needed a nap in days. Will see how much improvement I get without turning into a label-reader, but so far, it's promising.

EDIT: Hah, the neighborhood trashpickers have already taken the organ. Have fun!
