Today's Fun and Games

Got up at 6:30, did various odds & ends. I craigslisted for a measley $10 these American Flyer trains (unfortunately in poor condition) at 8:30am Sat. in collectibles, painted some places in the bathroom in TRFKAK that Ken had never got around to (will need a second coat probably), removed the dish network wire running along the outside of the house, removed the ancient clothesline reel that used to go across the screened-in porch that blew away in a hurricane several years ago, smoothed last week's exterior patches, talked to Ti about doors- back door won't fit in front will have to get handyman to buy & install the kind I want, patched all the remaining holes in the exterior that needed a ladder to reach, scrubbed air-conditioner case clean of old tape that had been holding on a 'sunshade' that Ken insisted the A/C needed, removed patio stone that Ken had put below the A/C because it dripped on the grass (grass absorbs water, that's what it's FOR), removed broom handle Ken had stuck below the A/C in case it needed propping up, and sprayed silver Rustoleum on back gate (thing's not a year old-- shouldn't rust so quick--*grumble*.)

(On second thought I probably should have put the trains in 'toys'. Well, maybe I'll move the ad on Monday if it gets no interest.)

Ken sounds like a complete disaster as a handyman

I actually should be grateful that Ken did so little around here the last year- everything he did, he did wrong, even the things you couldn't imagine it being *possible* to do wrong.

Ti's company is very hungry, I think. I rather expect once I've finished paying off the work, Ti will vanish like smoke--- but at least he's doing his job and going beyond it NOW.
