Fractal Procrastination

I've been very Asperger the last couple days, brain running around like a caffeinated hamster in a exercise ball, in between being so wiped out that I spent a lot of time in bed with Thomas on my chest.
In my mind the dead washer has now escalated into A Major Project, because hey, the drier is about as old, and isn't getting as hot as it used to & the drum is obviously showing severe wear, so it's prob. better to buy a matching pair at once & only have one long taxi ride & one delivery charge, and if I'm going to take 2 of the 3 things out of the utility room which my brother refused to let me finish back when it had got peeled down to the studs, then I might as well also take out the hot water heater, buy tiles & other supplies and finish the floor and wall (bro didn't even bother to finish putting joint compound on the wall behind the washer). SO, my brain hamster is all check the checking acct before you call the plumber to see if they'll take the stuff out, but also you should take a taxi to Home Depot to get the stuff before you call the plumber so you'll be without the hot water the shortest time possible --not even *sure* they'll be able to leave the water on for the house, so should probably fill up containers/bathtub to make sure will have essential cleaning/cooking/pet/plant watering needs for a couple days-- etc.and I *planned* to get up and make my Home Depot list & go today, but only got as far as clearing out the stuff next to the washer including a pair of manual hedge clippers that obv. belong in trash, going in the kitchen & realizing I should try to get semi-matching tiles for the broken ones in the floor there as well, and measured them and figured out how many needed and checking my supplies to see what I don't need to buy (have got grout & grout sealer and about half as much tile adhesive as necessary, have also got feeble old manual tile cutter which sorta works and only destroys about one cut tile out of five- wish I could at least get replacement cutting wheel, but couldn't find it in HD or on-line) and somewhere along the line I got the shakes and the exhaustion hit, and I lay in bed for hours reading Odd Thomas with Thomas (who is very odd) sitting on my chest, purring, until I finally remembered that I couldn't sleep without at least one cover over me, and got under one and slept myself out and then got up and it was still early enough to go to HD, but the nerves came back, so I finished reading Odd Thomas and then started making Odd Ice Cream... it was supposed to be vanilla, but in a wild and crazy moment I tossed in a packet of Tapioca pudding mix...
Oh, the ice cream is done. ...man, that's good.
