Those are the prettiest zinnias I've ever seen. I usually don't like them, but these are very attractive.

They hadn't yet opened fully- I think they look really cool because each petal uncurls like a taco. :^) The packets said they would bloom fairly densely, covering up old flowers with new ones. I hope so.

Yes, the amount and type of sunlight I get does make plants grow rapidly- I need to feed them more often than other places because the soil is light and sandy.

I'm so glad I didn't make them wait overnight to plant them in the morning. They wanted in the ground! I expect they were starting to sprout en route.

The camera is a Canon PowerShot S5IS. It's the second PowerShot I've had- I wore the first one out. :^) This one is getting pretty beat up too, cuz I feel it's more important to have the camera ready for action than carefully protected.
