Yay, pool guy called

He says he's put me back on the schedule & they will probably start either the end of this week or the beginning of next (he says they won't need the electrician until after he's returned from holiday about the 23rd). Poor tadpoles are gonna die...

I got up way too early & hand-clipped the front hedges for about 2 hours, so I'm counting that as my outside work quota for the day. Plenty to do inside. Whilst I was out an AT&T guy came to work on the pole for my neighbor, who always has his gates locked, so I invited him to come through my yard to access the pole. I took the opportunity to ask him if I could get the phone line moved from over the corner of the pool to the end of the house. He said all I have to do is call & pay for it (he guessed the price between $80-$150) & the company will do it. So I'll put that on one of my agendas. Prob. after the pool guys do their bit, no sense having 2 things going on at once.

I've been sending butterfly pics to the big Butterfly site, but it sure is a slow process. I've sent 28 pics so far. Not including this one that I had taken of a Giant Swallowtail only a couple days ago.

*grin* I used to have bathing suits, but I outgrew them. I've only made a few bathing suits, long, long ago. Probably the pattern is around somewhere, but I bet it's too small. I'll prob. go swimming in shorts & t-shirt.

I went out to wave bye-bye at them a few hours ago. There aren't as many as there were a week ago, so hopefully that means a lot of them grew up and left the pool during a rainstorm.

I love the panache of this particular butterfly- it's really got stylish antennae.
