Oryx is really stunning. I take it that the oryx with one horn lost the second? The face is funny:-)

I've seen one-horned oryx and other antelope in other zoos-- I *think* that sometimes one horn either grows crooked enough to hurt the animal or becomes damaged accidentally, and so the keepers remove them.
