ARGGH. Just when I thought the pool biz was over.

It occurred to me today that I STILL hadn't got back the signed as completed stuff from the pool folk. I dug out the city URL to check permit status and it shows as incomplete with the Failed Final as the last thing in the file. I called Pool Guy and left a message. I bet what happened is that he picked up the papers & dumped them in the office and they're SITTING there, instead of being signed, copied, copies mailed to me, originals going to City Hall to be filed.

I told Pool Guy PLEASE I want this settled before my birthday, Dec. 7, because I want NOT to have to think about this any longer. GRRRRRR....

*sigh* Unfortunately, I've found I can accomplish even LESS in person. They look at me and I can see them downgrading the status of the problem because I look like a person who will take any amount of crap. I need to get a foot taller and at least 50 pounds lighter before I can command any respect. And probably have a sex change operation.

I'll just keep calling once a day until it gets fixed.

I spoke to pool guy today. He said he'd called City Hell yesterday & if they didn't find it, he'd take a copy down to them. He also said that because I told him I'd scanned the papers they weren't sending me copies. This isn't what he said then, but really, that doesn't matter. What DOES matter is getting the permit officially closed with the city, because you can't sell a house with an open permit on record.

I had to fight tooth & nail to get the roof and the windows finalized, too. Nothing goes according to plan. Oh, well... I'll just keep calling Pool Guy.
