This contest's theme is 'Puzzles'. I've made an allover design of clothing pieces fit together in a child's puzzle fashion (the kind where pieces are the shape of the objects). Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to vote on which of the four variations I should enter in the contest. I'm only allowed one entry, so I want it to be the best version.

I've put the four patterns up at Spoonflower, set to show you how a yard of it would look.

White flat outlines

Black flat outlines

Black raised outlines

Black raised outlines with some 3D effect motifs

You can click on zoom below the image to see more detail in the basic repeat.

I chose the first because it looks happy and summery and reminds me of stuff I wore as a small child.

I had fun designing cheerful clothes. I even got one outfit that reminds me of something Jenna wore. :^)

If you look at the close-up, you'll see a frog in the pocket of one of the shorts. :^)

Thanks. :^) It's rather a large design- I bet it would make a nice laundry bag.

I think the design motifs are too large for clothing.

It's hard to figure out what it will look like ahead of time because they automatically change everything to the resolution their printing machinery needs, so I guessed large. Next time I'm going to try harder to understand their instructions on scaling, it started out with 'oh this is simple, you just get the pixel count and then the dpi and you multiply and... long about there my brain went *klunk*.

I think the first one looks happiest, but the black-lined one is very snappy too! The raised outlines complicate the design and dilute the impact.

The design is very clever, I'm impressed with how everything fits together and repeats!

Thank you! Making it 'tile seamlessly' was a challenge! I think I will try to reduce the scale- right now it's so large it's only 2 repeats going across a 42" width.

I went with the first one too - they're all good but it's just so cheering.

And thank you for the icecream :)

Great! I entered the first one in the contest. :^)

Ice cream is always good! And that one has no calories.
