While faffing about randomly googling, I looked for odd-eyed animals and found

The Daily Life of a Grandma and Her Odd-Eyed Cat

A Japanese photographer has been taking photos of her grandmother (I believe the woman is now close to 100! You go, Grandma!) Her grandmother found a stray odd-eyed kitten in her shed around 10 years ago, and the two of them have the most beautiful loving friendship and the photos show it.

There's one photo that benefits from explanation-the grandmother is in a bath full of floating citrus fruit, with the cat keeping her company with front paws on the tub. A commenter far down the page explained it.

Yuzu is known for its characteristically strong aroma, and the oil from its skin is marketed as a fragrance. In Japan, bathing with yuzu on Tōji, the winter solstice, is a custom that dates to at least the early 18th century. Whole yuzu fruits are floated in the hot water of the bath, sometimes enclosed in a cloth bag, releasing their aroma. The fruit may also be cut in half, allowing the citrus juice to mingle with the bathwater. The yuzu bath, known commonly as yuzuyu, but also asyuzuburo, is said to guard against colds, treat the roughness of skin, warm the body, and relax the mind.

I posted about her and her cat either here or on Facebook a couple of years ago but I'm delighted to see them again. The photos are just beautiful, and the bond and love between the two even more so.

Must have been because I can't find it on LJ or DW.
