Birds from the Wings of Asia Aviary

Duck, Asian Glossy Starling, 2 pics of a Nicobar Pigeon, Straw-Necked Ibis, Chinese Pond Heron, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, and some kind of dove. (I tried to identify these birds, but if you put 'Asian Dove' into google, you wind up with a lot of photos of women!)














I think every time I've been to the zoo, this bird flops on its side in the dirt-- sunning itself? Who knows?

Stunning! I can see every detail! Who would say the legs can be so colourful... And the colours. Simply beuatiful!

The Nicobar pigeon and the Victoria crowned pigeon are my favorites, so pretty and much less shy than many of the other birds in the aviary.
