The antelopes have such lovely faces. But I love both the cattle, they are wonderful! I wish you could publish your pics...they are - FANTASTIC!!!

You never know, I might wind up fiddling with photos and putting them as fabric designs. :^)

The cattle are gorgeous- I couldn't get a good snap of the male Guar which was a pity. He was HUGE, lying down next to the big coral rock next to the female, with his back almost level with the top of the rock- and of course, his backside to the viewers! :^)

Beautiful animals, all so leggy and elegant - all except the gaur, which appears to have been assembled out of spare parts! She looks like she's built to several different scales. Do the gaurs look awkward in motion?

I wouldn't like to offend her, so I will say her coat looks healthy and glossy and her horns make a perfect curve.

The hump on the back contains muscle that helps support their massive weight- the bull was on the other side of the rock-- half again her size and much darker (blue/gray/black) and with a HUGE hump to his back. They barely moved, so I can't say what they look like in action.

The banteng (the pretty reddish cattle) are actually being domesticated in some places, but I doubt anyone will ever Gaur ranch.
