I'm semi-seriously considering going to the park. The sky seems cloudlessly, endlessly, blue looking out a window. But I haven't finished de-Asp. ing the yard. Hmm... well, I'll see what happens when I walk outside. Maybe the blue is an illusion.

Think I will TRY to go out. It's a very pretty day.

3pm, am back from the park. It was indeed a perfect day, sunny with a cool enough breeze to leaven the heat. Taxi guy sent his Uber friend to pick me up & that was nice. He has a small, but comfortable (and very clean) car. I didn't ask what he'd charge, just paid him the same I had given taxi guy for the ride to the park. (Uber is supposed to be cheaper, but I'm not gonna skinflint.)

Have 500 photos to cull through. I did a lot of iffy snapping. I'm pretty sure I'll delete many of them.

Old Fashioned Cream Rose Stripe.

I went to make this, thinking that I would fiddle and tweak the colors on the layers of the saved multi-level version. But...

then I looked in the folder where I expected it to be (Spoon WIP) and PANIC, all that was there were the flattened final versions. (When I do computer backups I move the final versions to 'Complete Spoonies'. I keep them in WIP for a while because sometimes I realize they aren't quite right & I need to revise them.)

*FLAIL FLAIL OMG I can't face starting it over again* And then I remembered that I'd scanned the colored pencil drawings and the scanner is set to put them in the 'Scanned Stuff' folder.

And If I start from there and don't think to tell the computer to change the folder, that's where it stays. So there it was. *WHEW*

I fixed up the new version and made several stupid errors (like misspelling common words, stupid) and decided I was just too tired from my walk in the park to be useful.

So I took a little nap.... Three hours. I walked for three hours and I napped for three hours. I guess that balances out? I was disappointed in my body, though. I thought all these weeks of yard work had made me stronger.
