Ok, I can't crosspost to LJ any more

You know why the login is failing? Because LJ is fouled up. I CAN NOT log in. I followed their instructions to create a new login password, but it just doesn't work. Except SOMETIMES it does, which means... I give up on LJ. I NEVER got anywhere with their 'volunteer- eg other users- support'.

I've had some luck emailing Livejournal Support rather than just asking a question on the board. It makes a private request, and they will get back to you via email.

Thanks! That sounds like it's worth a try. When I have more energy I will line up my query and attempt it. Hopefully it wouldn't make matters worse. :^)

Ok, so this is a widespread issue. I'm not going to bother reporting it. I found that I could log in on my google Chrome browser, but I haven't tried posting a DW from there to see it if cross-posts. I doubt it, but I'll try to remember-- I don't use the Chrome very often.
