Face Masks- probably the final batch
Aug. 19th, 2020 04:17 pmJust so hard to get up energy for anything. Combination of the general situation, the weather, the interminable construction across the street, various petty annoyances and inconveniences that just eat away my will power so I am spending most of my time vegetating in front of the computer, rubbing 3 stones against each other as a distraction. (Stones salvaged from landscape stones kicked up out of my chewed up verge by the backhoe that had been there every day back and forth... a few days ago they took it away, not that they're finished with the work, oh no-- I have things better than a neighbor across the street who has only a small access left and most of their verge is obliterated by a mound of sand/marl/pipes/cement nearly as high as their house--- for MONTHS--) Anyway, I click my 'worry stones' against each other while I try to think of something productive and instead read fic and sometimes watch a movie--- the stones are slowly becoming polished...)
I laid the masks out neatly so I could reduce the number of photos- 35 at a time, and then flipped each mask over to photograph the other side. I stuck letters and numbers on them to make it obvious that 1A in the first photo is the same mask as 1A in the second photo, etc.
They're all a mixture of florals and 'cheater patchwork' designs.

Date: 2020-08-19 11:35 pm (UTC)I couldn't sell them for various logistical reasons. I started to write out all the reasons, but it boiled down to 'a lot of hassle and not enough profit to even break even for the time involved'.
So I plan to keep some for my use, and include some in Christmas packages. :^)

I also stitched in a space near the top where you can put in a nose wire, if you have one. I don't have any of the right kind of wire, but it also works out well if you have large eyeglasses like mine that can hold down the top edge of the mask.
