feng_shui_houseI've been trying to vary my activities- not sit all day at the computer- so I went out and dug weeds for a while, came in to cool off, read a little fic, set some designs for sale.
And then I was going to put on my second pair of yard shoes (they get soaked through and so I alternate, letting a pair dry out in between)- I keep the yard shoes right under the computer. 'Tasha likes to lie on my shoes, but usually only one pair. This time she stretched out to cover both pairs and had fallen asleep with her face stuffed into my stinky shoes, eyes closed in bliss.
I just... yeah... thought about the stories about people who cut off their sleeves rather than bother the cat-- not SURE which is the original story-- quite possibly it's one about a Chinese emperor who had a male lover who he doted on so much he couldn't bear to disturb his rest. And then there's the story that said the prophet Mohammed wouldn't disturb his cat, Muezza even though it was time to go to prayers. So, you know.
Thinking of it, I googled and wound up with the Mohammed story and laughed at the caption
The prophet Mohammad was very fond of cats, particularly one named Muezza (not shown).
As if there was full color studio photography of cats during Muezza's life and someone would have expected a pic of Muezza?
