Fleece Balaclavas not good...

I just saw a study about the effectiveness of different face masks- the cotton kind I've made is good, BUT fleece balaclavas in this study were WORSE than not wearing a face mask at ALL.

They broke up particles into finer germ carrying bits, which means more chances of spreading disease. And I suppose finer particles could spread further.

This has been a public service announcement.

Well, no one has ever used this material here. Anyway, can you imagine someone wearing it in warm weather?

I'm good! Currently watching a map showing the progress of the Instacart shopper driving to my house with the groceries they bought for me.

That is so cool... about 5 minutes away from me. I WILL HAVE MILK AND BREAD AND CHEESE!

Just got through handling the groceries. Sorted non-perishables to sit in an unused room for a few days JUST IN CASE they have germs that will die in a hot room, sprayed with a cleaner and wiped everything in plastic containers that needed refrigeration before I put it in the fridge, filled the sink with water and dishwashing soap to wash the produce- bananas, onions, apples and potatoes. The apples and potatoes are drying on a towel, now.

FOOODD... bread, yes, sandwiches and French toast and regular toast. NOM NOM NOM.
