And photos of the fifteen felt Amabies I've made recently.

(A three-legged, beaked and scaled mercreature called Amabie from 19th-century Japanese folklore is said to protect against epidemics if you see an image of it.)

Wonderful, wonderful photos!!! I am so excited! I have always loved your pics, they belong to the textbooks and they are full of life. Oh, that kestrel, I love bird of prey very much! But small songbirds are such darlings and mockingbirds are clever and cheeky.
Thank you very much, you made my day (gray, gloomy, wet, windy and totally unpleasant it WAS).

They're not culturally familiar but I can easily tell they're mercritters! The long seaweedy hair, the fin-shaped ears and the scaly mesh really make it clear. They're so colourful and cheerful all lined up like that.

I love how toys end up with different facial expressions even when they're machine-made and mass-produced - these ones have a lovely variety. The orange and red one in the bottom picture looks like it has an excellent secret to tell!
