*sniffles*
Dec. 29th, 2020 09:33 amLast night I dunno...I was sneezing, I was shivering and couldn't get warm. Went to bed early and kept waking up during the night & now I feel generally slightly achy all over. Still have no sense of smell (am eating food by remembering what it tastes like).
Maybe I will do less yard work today- want to transplant some tomato seedlings, but I think that will be all. Just enough to get some fresh air and natural sunlight.
I can't smell myself, but I feel sticky, so I guess I finally warmed up in my burrito of many quilts & sweated. Once I get up the energy I'll go shower. Hopefully the house will have warmed up a bit by then.

Date: 2020-12-29 07:01 pm (UTC)Ok, I just did a little googling, and there are now far more options (and far fewer restrictions) than there were the last time I looked.
Huh, I don't know if it's true, but the elementary school I attended as a child is listed as having COVID-19 testing- that's actually within walking distance for me about 1/3 of a mile away.
I've got everything I need, yes. :^)

Date: 2020-12-30 03:15 am (UTC)I'm pretty sure I already had it once- before the US admitted it existed. In retrospect it started with a day of unexplained chills (yesterday's wasn't as bad as that time), and then there was 3 weeks of being tired all the time and unproductive coughing. I never had a fever or difficulty breathing, just a slightly sore throat, lack of sense of smell/taste & a general feeling of overall achy.
So far it's really not much.

Mild COVID-19 cases still can make you feel lousy. But you should be able to rest at home and recover fully without a trip to the hospital.
