Bunny yawns

So far today I took the bunnies and the Santa sacks outside to photograph them in the fern bed, cut up fabric for oven mitts, and managed to clip some of 'Tasha's nails, thanks to her being so relaxed on the couch in the Room Which is Usually Shut- both back paws and several nails on the right front- in 3 tries. As soon as she starts to squirm and her purring lessens, I stop. Trying to make this a pleasant experience (I had worked up to it for MONTHS, massaging her legs when she was relaxed and working my way down until after a few weeks she enjoyed having her toes massaged.)

I admit I was inspired by videos of a man giving a lion foot massages.

I went back and 'Tasha had flipped over, so I got to do some of the left. It's her front thumbnails that are the most tricky. She really doesn't like them being accessed- but they are the most important because they are the most likely to overgrow into her feet. Did that once before & by the time I'd convinced her to let me clip it, I had to cut from the outside because it was embedded in her poor toe beans. She was very pleasantly surprised when I DID get it, because Wow, Mom, it doesn't hurt any more! Thanks!

Discovered one pixel line error around parts of yesterdays designs. Maybe NO ONE but me would ever notice, but better to fix it anyway. So did that, and made large scale versions of some of the color variants I like best.

Uploaded the new versions and realized I'd forgot to make them half brick... back to revising again.

Brought in SCUM-E. Too tired for yardwork, so I went into the sewing room to explore the contents of two baskets- mostly quilt and quilting templates and books.

FOUND my red plastic value viewer. Also found pieces cut for a small quilt that I'd made years ago- put on the back table to cut them down to add to the baggie full of charm/picket fence patches. LOTS of assorted rulers and a whole bunch of different kinds of 'tube turners'. Also rolls of totally ruined quilters 1/8" tape. AND foundation pieced paper patterns from the internet printed up so long ago the printer only did black ink... butterflies and cat etc all VERY SMALL. Oh, wait, I found ANOTHER red plastic value viewer. AND unopened pack of quilter's support gloves. Also unopened, a rotary cutter and cutting mat. Thimbles and marking pencils in various colors, chalk wheel and refill chalk, press bars (heat resistant plastic to iron tubes for applique, etc), thin needles for quilting, graphed plastic to design and cut out pattern pieces, things to measure 1/4 seam allowance, including a rolling circle you put a sharpened pencil into, and two flexible rulers 18" and 20" long- 1/4 inch wide with inches on one side, centimeters on the other.

Yes, I have a LOT of stuff. At one time my dad used to take me to a nearby craft/sewing place at least once a month for their sales- plus I had several catalogs that came to the house.

Earlier today I looked into the top two inches of a pile of assorted fabric in the sewing room and found a bunch of appliques I'd made into iron-ons and never used- Christmas, Valentines day and Southwestern.

Ow, I have now got a backache-- from what? Sorting old stuff? My body has betrayed me. It's only 3:30 and I'm wiped. I went into the guest/box/library room (which now has less boxes! If you don't count the really large strong ones that I had flattened and hid behind the couch... totally INVISIBLE... except for the sticky out bits.) Ennywho, I went in, trimmed a few claws, saw that the botch of nails holding the molding CLOSE, but no cigar, to where it should be, hasn't fallen off or vanished (you never know).

But the idea of working on it just filled me with a loud sense of 'NOooOOOO' Too tired. *FLUMPH*

Later maybe I'll have energy to upload and sort photos to maybe share, but I was so groggy today I kept making really stupid makes with the designs, so I'm thinking I need to nap. Once I get the energy to get up and get to my bed...

Attempted to look at my Spoonflower stuff just now. The site had logged me out (it ignores the 'keep me logged in' button whenever it has a whim.) AND the moron coders made it so when I'm logged out the only page I can see DOES NOT have a log in link. I have to manually change the URL to 'Spoonflower.com/login'.... and when I did THAT, it went back to the useless page that doesn't have a log in. After several tries I accidentally mistyped the URL as 'log in' and wound up on an old error page (coded before the current morons got their sticky fingers into the entrails of Spoonflower's code) which had a LOG IN link. And that time it worked, but I don't count on it staying.

SO TIRED. *FLUMPETY FLUMP*

I still have raspberry muffins! Life continues to be good, despite living in a modern day archaeological site.

Sounds like you've been doing some good sorting.

I had to google value viewer, but now I know what one is used for :)
