Legless and Elephant (no pictures today)

I woke up way early again. Trying to be a movable feast... swept back room, did laundry, cut pieces for a tote, patched together lining to make the best use of the fabric (an African inspired design I made and liked enough to buy in strong fabric, but then never figured out a use for it until I looked at the African Elephant t-shirt print), once again attempted the design I fubared yesterday. Deleted most of it, but possibly one fubar is a 'happy little accident'. Will upload and hope.
Moved rocks to next polishing stage. Took a photo of the finished rocks sorted on the mantel of the gas fireplace in the living room.
Went out with Max- saw another legless (this one with full tail) on the pool deck, thrashing desperately trying to climb the wall. I went to take a photo and it tried to crawl under my shoe. Poor thing, it must have been like a person stranded in the middle of a desert- provided the desert had roaming lions. I got a net and put it in front of the legless- who tried to crawl under the net (their instinct is to burrow) and that distracted it enough I was able to take it by the neck and guide it into the net. I put it down in front of the compost heap. It had a hard day, I hope it finds nice juicy worms.
Then I Maxed the pool some. Read a little fic. Went back out and sawed some 7ft plus dragon plants to about 4 ft. Added to compost pile.
Re-watched a fun 2:50 second time lapse video. Ants VS Mac and Cheese.

There's a LOT of Ants VS Food videos. The dramatic music! The ACTION.

Searched back in the Spoon Wip 2 folder and found the original straight set version of the Madras plaid, and managed to separate all the color stripe layers and made one. Not thrilled with it. Too many colors in the base, but that's easier to change than too few & gives room for variants.
Ok, I went back to sewing on the Elephant Tote for a while, in between reading some fun Teen Wolf Superhero fic & doing a few more Madras patterns.
AND THEN. I decided to take the plunge and actually go in the swimming pool that I've been feeding chemicals and cleaning every day. I have 3 bathing suits. I put on the one I wear most often AND IT IS BAGGY on me. OMG. Baggy all over. The label says 1X- size 16-18, so MAYBE I actually have been transforming fat into muscle.
The other two suits I vaguely recall as being slightly smaller (although the said the same size).
Maybe I can make a bathing suit? Must see if I have the right fabric- it needs 4 way stretch. Other wise, heck, I could make shorts and swim with t-shirt and shorts.
Maybe tomorrow I will have photos, but it's going for 7:30 pm, and I'm looking for bathing suit pattern/instructions/tutorials. Yep. I have one in my Assorted Crafts folder. It's a tutorial on how to Draft a pattern to your own measurements to make a 'pin-up' bathing suit. (Like the 1940's one piece suits- good style for me.). Hope I can do it.
AND HAH, the big rolls of brown paper might be useful for this!
