I lied last night- I didn't give up working, finished putting iron ons on the totes around 11pm. I was on a roll. Also I wanted to get the ironing board out of the back room.
Today I ran Old Max until I was tired, and Max was still going strong, so it looks like the only problem was the charger. Have to remember to see if I can buy one from Amazon later.
Spoonflower continues to be FUBAR- in addition to not loading the product images on designs (which is the ONLY way to adjust the repeat and scale) today someone tried to upload a new design and even THAT wouldn't work. On the bright side, all this discouragement at SF has me spending more time on house fixing/ yard work/ clearing out clutter/sewing, etc. rather than spending 8 hours a day at the computer creating designs.
Went to start sewing zigzag to keep the iron ons in place and realized I am ALMOST out of white sewing thread. I thought I'd never run out because I'd stocked up during a sale SO LONG ago. So, since I wanted to get another charger, its back to Amazon. I am TRYING only to buy what I need (but not put off what I need as prices always go up). So charger, thread and eye drops. RESISTING frivolous stuff.
Went out back with shovel, Wolverine gloves (4 claws on one hand for weeding), long pruner (for bougainvillea) and worked a while. Last years zinnias must have seeded some because there are a few tiny, scraggly zinnias in the weed patch at the end of the pool. Be a while before I can weed up to them, my arms are so tired after what I did manage today.
And then I kinda zonked out. Time got away from me today. I did at least put out two bags for the trash- one full of bougainvillea (it was hitting the roof so I'm glad I got that much down) and one full of Stuff I Don't Need.
I hope I have brain tomorrow. It's annoying when the day disappears on me.
