Comment editing!
Nov. 2nd, 2007 11:12 amAccording to the LJ Herald, seems to be planned as an upcoming feature for Paid and Permanent users. A few details: "Only the comment poster can edit a comment. A comment cannot be edited if it has been replied to or frozen. When a comment is edited, a small note is put at the bottom of the comment text with a timestamp of when it was last edited.
Bugger, but that's very like what I suggested to LJ when they said they WOULDN'T do comment editing because someone could abuse it by post-facto changing what they'd said in order to make a reply from someone else look bad. Let's see if they DO go ahead with it. Even a limited comment edit would be helpful.
