*sigh* I need moar windchimes...
Mar. 26th, 2009 09:09 amGeorge the electrician told my brother he'd come by today to help with the fan. As I had a load of laundry in the bedroom I decided to take care of that this morning.
The washer has had it. It won't spin/drain. I see myself hauling out the clothes and rinsing them in the bathtub, hand-squeezing them, and then putting them in the dryer (fingers crossed that doesn't decide to croak.)
The clipper/pole-saw is also a goner. It's just plain worn out. (Ken stole it from an old lady, so I never had a new one.) It's worth the $60 for a cheap one, I think. Cutting thorny 10-ft tall bougainvillea is a lot less ouchy with one.
Am trying to get up the energy to haul the laundry out of the machine.
