Am recovering from breakdown

Minor hysteria/depression fit, actually.
( Whining until it's late enough to call the taxi-guy to go grocery shopping- his card says 24 hours, but I've never managed to get him before 10am, and often not got through before 11. So, more than anyone would ever want to know about dealing with pool refinishing contractors. )

Serendipitious Self-expressive Photo Meme

1) Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive.
2) NO CAPTIONS!!! It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.
3) They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.
4) You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.

Paring down was tough- I ONLY went through one folder-the catch-all one I've labeled 'assorted pics'. This meant I did NOT look at any fandom photos or any photos I've taken myself. And I still wound up with 85. After resetting my parameters from 'photos I really think are cool and make me think things that vaguely remind me of me' to 'photos that REALLY make me think of my life', and got it down to 40-odd. Eventually I got it down to 10, but it wasn't easy.

The meme says not to add captions, but I am a VERY texual person, so most of the photos that made the final cut had text already incorporated into them. Words R Me.
