Ehouse remains optimistic

Yesterday was the last day of hurricane season (basically it means the odds are very, very low for one forming until next season). YAY, another year gone by without one threatening Ehouse. I am very grateful.

I am not sending Christmas cards to other countries this year. The US Postal Orifice now wants nearly $2 if a card goes a fraction over an ounce (nearly $1 for the first ounce.) I probably won't even send to folks in the US except for immediate family. I shall TRY really hard to come up with a 'card' I can post here. I mention this so folks who might send me cards can feel free not to do so- why enrich the POs?

My birthday is coming up, and I'm sorta half excited. I mean-- I don't know if I dare make even a gluten-free cake, but I'm determined to find some way to make the day special. Since it falls on Monday (my brain is so bad I looked at October, not December on the calendar). Amelia Earhart Park wouldn't charge the taxi driver or me admittance, which makes me lean towards that. I hope I am up for it. Today was another need healing sleep day with burny ankle and clumsiness and stupidity. *ptui* I DID finish my DV ficathon story and made a few giraffes, so yay. Have not yet tried to Cosmo. Will TRY.

Yesterday I saw a hawk, RIGHT across my narrow 2 lane street. I got some ok pics. Even repaired the new camera isn't great on focus, but it's usable. I shall post pics on another post.

Brain still fried. I know I didn't give the 2nd giraffe image to OMG, but I MIGHT have sent the first one after Mr. Giraffe went to sleep in Norway. *head scratch* I'll wait until tomorrow to see if the first one is posted there before sending them.
