Don't Panic!

If you're experiencing problems with user pics, photo gallery pics, or headers that you've (or someone else) has got stored at LJ not showing up, or an inability to load images, etc., this is probably due to massive LJ maintenance and changes in program. The programmer says the next day or two will definitely be not good for displaying userpics/scrapbook/vgifts, etc. but s/he hopes it will all be completed within a week.

I'm glad I kept lj maintenance friended. You can often get actual useful news from them. More details here:
