Giraffes and whines

I am now up to 1,082 giraffes, and Canada still at 1,100. I'm gaining!

I am STILL sick from the gluten, it is taking a big chunk out of every day either being incommodocado or else napping, or simply too drained to function. DRAT. Thank heaven this is the slow growing time of year or the yard would be impossible. It's all I can do to drag myself outside and water the strawberries and cantaloupe-- would you believe one of the baby cantaloupe plants had several flowers on it a few days ago?

I called pool guy and practically wept at him, telling him I'm sick and it's my birthday coming up and he said he'd definitely get to City Hell and give them copies of the papers they didn't bother to file either by this Friday or next Monday.

I called Canon tech support & after following the guy's instructions to reset it & take test pics outside he said they'd email me some instructions and reg. mail me a postage-paid label for returning the camera via FedEx which would come to Ehouse to pick it up. Email hasn't come yet, but I'm hoping.

A guy knocked on the door about an hour ago- he wanted to be sure there was access to the power pole behind Ehouse. He says that probably next week they will replace it! YAY. I've been nervous about that pole for years.

Have totally given up doing anything useful. Shall try to fic. And maybe I'll scribble enough giraffes to beat Canada.

Merry Ficmas

I am sooo not having energy for doing things that involve moving from this chair but I would like to show yearend appreciation for the people who read my journal. I've been reminded that writing fic is a gift to others. Sooo...if there's a story I've written that you'd like a sequel to, or a plot bunny you think I'd give a good home to, or characters you think I should show some affection or beat up on or whatever, then comment it here and whenever the muse strikes I'll look over the list and try to do some. I'd probably give preference to B7 as I feel I've neglected them lately, but that doesn't rule out anything else.

I am continuing Cat's World, so you don't have to mention that one.

I'm putting no limits on requests. Anyone can ask for as many of whatever. I'm making no promises, but I'll sure do my best. If you particularly want gen or slash or purple eggplant, be sure to say so.
