Stupid feet were puffed this morning; the left in particular looked like a pink brick, was very cold & bending it (or the toes) was like bending cardboard. I gave up and went back to bed along with Alistair MacLean's 'The Way to Dusty Death' (crap title, but a great action book; the hero gets beat up so bad it makes you stop feeling sorry for yourself). When I finally got up again hours later the foot was a bit better, and bro had brought in the mail, including a catalog called 'Foot Smart -smarter, better products for lower body health'.
I had got an email that mentioned compression socks from drleonard's website a couple days ago, but I dithered. $10 seemed a bit much for a pair of medium compression socks. The Foot Smart people had a lot more info. which made me think I really should get them and should get the firm support rather than the medium. FS wanted $30 a pair. *cough*... they also wanted $80 for a wedge shaped pillow to elevate your legs when you sleep.
Good old drleonard's. For some reason the firm support socks were cheaper than the medium. $7.33 a pair. And a leg wedge pillow was $20. So I splurged and ordered 9 pair of socks, white, black and tan ones and the leg pillow.
I may even get dressed today... but I doubt it. Stupidly feeling light-headed & dizzy at times. Am going to be lazy all day and do *nothing* on ehouse or the yard. That'll teach my stupid feet.
