Yes you can see he's suspicious of something, probably thinks you are appraising him for the need for a bath. That camera is phenomenal as is the user.

Thank you. Bertie was *born* suspicious. He probably was wondering if I was going to dose him with medicine- he'd had his teeth cleaned last week.

I am beginning to grow quite fond of this camera- it still doesn't work as easily as the old one for close-ups, but I hope to get the hang of them.

He's much prettier than my sketch- he's black with white toes and white whiskers, but I gave up trying to make whiskers look white using a gray pencil. :^)

He is a lovely cat. His full, original name is Eggbert, the Countertop Spy, but my brother somehow got his name down at the vet as 'Birdie'. Maybe its an alias.

There's a total lunar eclipse tonight beginning 17:54 Sydney EST time (Tuesday 28th 3:37 am Pacific Daylight Time for mid-eclipse) - could be worth looking out for. The moon is supposed to turn a red/orange colour. Lots of information on Google re this event.

Isn't it always the way! I keep my camera on my computer desk in front of me, to make it harder to lose. I still manage it from time to time.
